I have a 2001 Winnie Cheiftain 35 u with 13 k miles that generally drives well except in heavy winds. Thinking about adding a trac bar front or rear or both. Have read previous post but would like to know the latest ideas. Davis True Trac or Tiger trac bars. I will be driving from Missouri through North Dakota and Montana in July and I expect some pretty strong winds.

Thanks

I added the Roadmaster RSS anti-sway bar(rear) and the Blue Ox TruCenter(front). I installed both myself on my Adventurer 35u, and they made a world of difference in handling, especially when towing a car. Highly recommended.

Daveb PT,
which chassis is your moho on? mine is a workhorse w-20.
imho the first item to check is your weights and tire pressure.
the first improvement i made was a track bar on the rear. then i added 4 koni fsd shocks. these 2 changes made a huge difference in handling in windy conditions. the rear track bar made the biggest improvement in the wind.
i recently had my wheels aligned and added 2 degree castor wedges for a total of 5 degrees of castor. this made a small improvement, maybe not even worth the $387 cost. my moho has 14k miles on it.
i bought a hellwig front sway bar that i will install in the near future. it has one of the mounts for a front track bar if i think that is necessary after installing and evaluating the improved handling with the front sway bar.
to recap, imho the best bang for the $ for you would be to install a rear track bar first then koni fsd shocks. then evaluate how your moho handles. imho you should take these steps one at a time unless you have unlimited $.
after the rear track bar and shocks, other improvement on my moho have only made small improvements in handling.
