Trend/Viva dash Sat and Nav

finally tracked down the problem with my in dash radio sat and nav. problem. Antenna wire was not plugged into the wire coming from the roof. Boy was it hard to find. Still don't have it fixed. can see wire from roof but can not get three hands in to connect wire from radio to it.
Need to get something clamped on wire from roof so that I can hold it while I push the other end into the female end.
Has any Trend/Viva owners had similar problems?
Looks like this has been like this from day one.

Use a small pair of locking pliers to gently grip the wire from the roof, than maybe you can push them together.

There's other tools that might work better too. I have several of those medical clamps with serrated jaws for jobs like you're describing. They come in several sizes and can be found at many thrift stores that have tools.

Found the tool but still could not get two cables connected. Looks like the only way to fix it is take the over head down. I will see if Winnie has a perferred method for doing that.
