Triangular glides replaced at HWH

On the living room slide all the the triangular glides(4) and the bottom rectangular glide pair on the front ram were replaced last month at the HWH factory. The 4 glides were crumbling and the slide was out of alignment as could be seen by the misalignment of the graphics and misalignment of the slide compared to the interior opening in the sidewall. One side of the pair of bottom glides had a vertical midline crack in it. It wasn't visible, but running a fingernail across it picked it up.

This was a very positive experience with HWH and we couldn't be more pleased! We arrived the afternoon before our 7am appointment and parked in one of the seven spots available with electricity hookups. Water and dump site are available but we didn't check them out because they were not needed. The office lounge is comfortable with table and chairs, couches, coffee, TV, wifi, and full restroom with showers. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, easy to work with, and answered our questions. During the repair work we were able to go out into the shop and watch but could not take any pictures that included an employee.

The best part was we were charged 4 hours of labor and less than $50 for parts!

I don't have post repair pictures and RV is in storage

Good report!! I love it when a repair or service turns out to be what was promised and expected.

You didn't say but I assume the slide now works much better.

Yes, it does and no worries about it getting stuck when it's out!

We had ours done 5/23/2017. It was preventative maintenance, didn't want to get stuck with slide-out problems out on the road with our '04 Journey. HWH is one of the best suppliers that we have dealt with. I just wish that the new Winnebago coaches had HWH on them, I might be tempted to purchase one.
Good Luck,
Indiana Journey
