Well, after much research, I am going to wait til the RV show here in mid October and go cruise the vendor tent. I called on the Cummins RR4 system and the cost was $1130 from several different dealers.

The VMS system is running about $1150, so there is not much difference there. Might as well take the time and check it out throughly before I write the check.

I got my RR4 a couple of years ago---they have probably gone up since then. I ordered it from one of the Northern Ohio Cummins dealer which was much cheaper than others I spoke with.

I sent an e_mail to the Scan Gauge folks to see if it works with a Motorhome. Don't know if it will do what I want it to yet.
