Eveything works on the heat pump and the propane furnace, but when I have it on electric and the temp drops too low, the switch to the propane no longer occurs. I have to get up and manually change it to propane to get the heat back on. Just would like to know what I am dealing with before I go to the dealer.

When mine was doing the same thing this past February, a new Tru Air thermostat corrected the problem.

On my coach, the Heat pump and Gas furnace run concurrently, when the room temperature is 5 degrees lower than the set temperature.
When the temperature differential is less than 5 degrees only the heat pump runs.

actually mine used to be on at the same time, but now the propane doesn't come on unless I turn it to propane. If it is on electric and it gets too cold outside, no heat comes on until I switch it to propane. Prob needs new thermostat.
