I just noticed that the fan switch on the thermostat is wired backwards. When the switch is set to high, the fan is on low. When set to low, the fan is on high.

I pulled the thermostat off the wall, but there doesn't appear to be wiring terminals. Has anyone ever encountered and fixed this before?

Can't help you, but I am surprised you noticed that the fan had a "high and low" speed. I have not noticed any difference in the fan speed on high or low??

I had noticed the same thing when I bought my rig in December of 04. I didn't bother to look into it. In August of '05 I had a major failure of the A/C unit. The repair consisted of replacing the circuit board and the outside fan blower. Since then, the switch works Hi and Lo correctly. It may have been a precursor to the other failure. For your sake, I hope not.
