With thanks to Clay L, Pace89 and others from whom we've copied ideas, we have just completed the conversion from the OEM 25 inch "slug" CRT TV in our unit to a 32 inch Samsung LED. For others who may want to try such a project, you may find the link to our slideshow below helpful. The nice thing about this project was that, for other than a few bits of hardware, all of it was completed using recycled materials from other renovation projects around our home. Best of luck to any who tackle the project.

Looks great. What do you store in the box behind the tv? I cut the big box out when I installed my lcd. Out of curiosity I weighed the box along. It was 47 pounds. Getting that and the crt out from over my head made me feel a lot better.
