I have a Journey 36G 2004. The radio works fine while traveling but when we are parked and engine not running, House power switch is on, which I leave on all the time unless the coach is in storage, Radio has power but no sound through speakers. Speaker switch is on radio. Speakers also don't work when in TV position. Just get sound from the TV and not speaker system. Found a 2 amp fuse gone on a inline fuse below radio accessed through small storage door beneath radio. Thought maybe that was it but still no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Select "aux" on your radio power switch. On my coach, it's the top switch in the row that contains the air horns, defrost fans, gen start, etc.

confusing symptoms for sure...
does your tv set have a ''variable output'' or something similar on its menu?

Our Vecta's radio also went south on us -- no sound out of the dash (front) or TV speakers. Speaker switch has checked out okay? I'm thinking it might be in the radio??

We had to replace our radio; I took the old radio in to the radio shop. They sold me one that fit right in with the surrond sound plug on it; It was kinda pricy but it works perfectly. If only it were that simple on the TV> sound; I've tryed the wiring diagrams Posted alsewere, with no luck;; Seems I will need to install Something called A red or blue tooth; What is happening to this world,?? seems we allways need to buy something alse;; The speaker on the flatscreen , is 1"X2" OH there is 2 of them.. We're used to the sound of 4 6" speakers.. I must ask, The new speakers, Is that an inprovement ?? Life is good someplace..

Radio and speakers work fine with Engine running. Engine off and ignition in assesory radio has power but speakers wont work. Ignition off, Aux. power in the on position, radio power switch in aux. position, Speaker switch in Radio position, Radio has power, shows station and volume but no speakers. Radio/TV switch has power in both positions. Tv also does not work on speaker system but has sound on the internal tv speakers.
Is there a inline fuse on the speakers system somewhere? What am I missing?

The fuse I replaced was for the charger system for the 2 way radio box.

Found one of the 50 amp resets in the fuse panel in the front of the machine needed reset, not sure what tripped it. Speakers still did not work right. Pulled assesory relays on the same panel in front comparment and check with meter. All checked fine. Speakers now work as they are suppose to. Time will tell if problem comes back but know where to start looking now. Son in law suggested relay issue. Good guy to have around.
