Tv upgrade

Does anyone know if there is a certain way to remove the plastic covers over the screws that hold the lower cover on the front tv on our Winnebago 2004 Journey. I need to upgrade the tv so I need to take the existing tv out

They should just pop off with the help of a flathead screwdriver

On mine there is a small center cap on the plastic screw cover that you pry out with a small screwdriver or pointed knife blade. Once the center cap is off you have access to the Phillips screw. At least that's the way I remember it.

Most of those face plates for TV's have a male and female plastic snap set. The male is usually used as a washer, and is tightly held by the face plate mounting screw. The cap or female portion of the snap set is removable by using a screwdriver blade or a stout butter knife, and a slight twisting action.

Be sure to place a paper towel, or soft cloth under the screwdriver before twisting, so you minimize any chance at scratching or scarring your face plate.

Please let us know how this turns out.
