Many diesel pushers I have seen, including many Winnebagos, have an air chuck in the front somewhere that you can use to fill tires, etc. I can't find one anywhere on my 2002 Ultimate Advantage. Any ideas?

That feature may not have been fitted to your particular build but you can check the schematics on the Winnebago Website by year, make and model.

Often times a valve and gauge etc. can be added to the air manifold in the front. I have been fortunate to have mine already rigged on the diesels. Good Luck

On my 03 Advantage the air chuck is located under the front hood to the left side (passenger side looking at the coach) and has a quick connect and cutoff valve. If you don't have one there, you can probably modify the manifold at that point to install one.

Hi Nick
I have a 2002 ultimate advantage 40e. Looking at the gen. on the left side you will find a place to put air in with an air chuck. I put in a tee for the air hose. Rember to have the engine running catch the compressor during loading to have enough air for the tires. cummins isc 8.3 350 8 mpg up or down hill. Very pleased with the coach.

I added an air chuck to my '02 Horizon; an easy upgrade. I installed a shutoff valve at the air manifold block, up in the front compartment, by removing an unused brass plug. Behind the new valve, I installed about a foot of plastic air line, then to an air hose fitting. All the parts came from Lowes for less than $20.

Keep the valve turned off until you need to use it. The quick-disconnect fittings often leak, and if you don't have a valve ahead of it, there may be a loss of air, or more frequent compresson cycling from a leak.

I was going to make a mounting plate for the quick-disc, but ended up zip-tying it in a position where I can use it.
