While organizing the storage of the RV which we purchased a few months ago, I found a bracket and I cannot figure out what it is for. It is a "u" shapped bracket. Each side of the "u" is approximately 6" and the bottom of the "u" is about 20". The side brackets have a 3/8" bolt pressed in welded near the top. Each bolt has a flanged nut on it. The thickness of the steel is about 1/16". It is painted black and on the bottom side of the 20" "u" there is a 3/4" piece of weather stripping. The bracket is too flimsy to be a step of some sort.
Anyone have any idea? I've looked around and coannot find anything that would accomodate it nor what the purpose would be. Oh, one more thing ... the bottom piece is angled as if whatever it mated to was on a slight angle.
Thanks for your input. FrankieJ

FrankieJ,
Could it have anything to do with holding a spare tire or jack in place?

Tom, I thought of that, but it is too light and flexible at 3/32 thick. Thanks for the input. FrankieJ

Don't know if you have a slide. The only thing I can think of is use for manual return to travel position for a slide?
Good Luck!

These brackets are more than likely brackets for a washer/dryer installation.

... thanks for all your comments. I think the bet way is to take a photo and send it to Winne and see what they say. When I find out, I'll post it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Has the rear tv been replaced? It could be the bracket that holds down the tv.
Happy Trails!
