We're looking to get a 2012 Tour 40cd and will probably order it.
Was just wondering if the difference betwween the 2 gennies would be noticable and is it worth the extra $1,100.00 to have it.
We will be doing some dry camping but usually not more than a couple of nights at a time.
Thanks for you help.

I guess I should have looked a little close it says mandatory option, Guess they like to keep us guessing.

"Mandatory option" seems like an oxymoron to me. Always nice to have a little extra capacity.

Is that the model that offers an Household Type Electric Refrigerator as an option??? Maybe with the house reefer the Mandatory Opition is the larger Generator.
Good Luck

It's such a small fraction of the overall cost that I would think it silly not to have the extra power.

Traps90,
You need the larger genie to run all three air conditioners. You don't get 50 amp with the smaller genie. I have already heard good things about the 2012 and I can't wait to see at GNR in July. Wish I was getting one. Enjoy.
