My vacuum pump out on the driver's side front runs a lot. Also, when I turn the air on I also get air through the defroster and floor. I think I have a vacuum leak. When I take the one line off of the pump the pump will stop. I have checked the Ball thing under the from hood too, it is ok. I think that this leak is in the dash! How hard would it be for me to find it and is this a Freightliner thing or Winnebago thing. I just called Freightliner they say it is Winnebago.

You need to trace it from the pump to the vac valve that switches the duct from floor to defrost. Usually the rubber hose thatcouples the 2 plastic lines has a crack in it. About a 25 cent fix. Mine took 5 minutes to fix as it was all in hood compartment. Don't know your layout or what size Journey you have.

Steve is right on...check the small (only about 3/4" long) piece of tubing that attaches the vacuum line to the Evans valve inline with one of your heater hoses. That little tube cracks. I replace mine recently with some vacuum tubing...cost me $.47 at local auto parts store.
