vacuum line leak anyone?

I just had to replace the small vacuum line that attatches to the green plastic line that goes to the valve assembly. My dash air vents put out hot air and this heater valve was not working do to a split in the short small rubber vacuum line.
Anyway I had trouble finding the proper size. After 3 autoparts store stops I found some.
I had to purchase 1 foot of it and only need an inch of it.
I cut my self a new one plus a spare.
So if anyone needs a replacement for this vacuum line or wants a spare the 1st 10 people who gives me their address here or privately I will mail them a replacement or spare.
As you can see I have a Journey, but I think other models probable have the same.

There is really no need for the little pipe and extra hose that has split open on MANY of the rigs just in this forum.

Now why didn't I think of doing what your pictures show. It would have saved me a gallon of gas.

Jeff, I just happened to be reading this post and decided to walk outside and check my vacuum connection at the heater valve. Thanks for the tip as my small hose connection was cracked and due to fail at any time.

That tubing is standard windshield washer tubing available at almost all auto parts stores.
