Valterra SS01 Sewer Solution Kit

Forgive me if this question has been asked, I did not see anything regarding this system while doing a search

Does any on recommend using the Valterra Sewer solution as an alternative to the standard sticky slinky? It sure sounds like it would be more convenient to use?

seems more complicated to me. connect this to that, twist this to here but not here, connect this other hose here, turn on water, be sure to do this but not that. yadda yadda yadda. maybe its not but it sure seems to be.

pretty simple to hookup the 3" hose, connect to sewer and open valve. advantage might be the amount of space needed for storage but in our case we store our hoses in pvc tubes slung under the chassis.

We have used one for years without any issues.

The extra connection is a water supply quick connect.

Thank you

I appreciate the feedback. Not interested in make the process more complicated for sure. Looking for an effective and less messy solution. Yes space saving is a valuable feature. I must confess I am a gadget guy, so maybe that is part of the appeal.

Both SS and Valterra SS01 Sewer Solution have merit

I found some additional posts going back as far as 2014. Looks like those that spend much of their time at RV parks or campgrounds that have full hook ups readily available tend to love this solution. Takes more time but seems to provide a better, cleaner and compact option. The downside sounds like time and obviously water access. The process takes a little longer and would be inconsiderate to those in line at dumping stations. I think I will learn how to use both. I appreciate the insight. Never would of thought i would become this knowledgeable on sewer systems and maintenance
