Hi Folks,

Has anybody replaced one of the front clearance lights on a recent model Vectra? A low hanging branch on the Blue Ridge Parkway seems to have taken out my right outer light. The amber lens is gone but the light still works. It wasn't obvious on a quick visual inspection how one would remove/replace the light.

Chris - its been a couple of years since I played with one of my front marker lights, but I think it is a twist-in mount. The light is independent of its mounting base.

Thanks, John. That's what I found when I climbed up on the ladder and took a look at the good one on the left-hand side. It wasn't obvious with just the base on the broken one in place. The dealer in Denver (where I'll be on Thursday) didn' t have a new one, but there's one waiting for me in Seattle/Tacoma where I'll be early next week.

I think some of the truck stop stores might carry that light.

New clearance light obtained from Southside Motors in Tacoma, WA ($3.50) and installed by me from a ladder in less than a minute.
