Vectra Shower Water Limiting Valve

Probably not only a 'Vectra issue', but we were never satisfied with the water pressure in our shower -- on city water it was acceptable, but not great. On water pump, forget it! Identified to the Winnebago folks on our 'to do list' and the fix was simple -- remove the restricter valve from the shower hose. Small in-line valve with a shutoff to turn the water on/off. The problem is that there is a 1/8 hole (maybe a fraction bigger) that restricts the water flow. Removed and it's close to being a stik house shower on the RV water pump.

John - the part you removed, is that the whole on/off push pin thingy? Or does that on/off feature still work?

The complete valve, which includes the on/off water flow push pin. We're at Winnebago now, but when I get home I'm going to find a on/off valve that does not restrict the flow.

I feel you pain with the water pressure. I keep thinking about adding a larger quiter pump. I took that darn valve completely out of our 08 tour. You can still turn the water off at the end of the shower head.

Not sure if this could help you at all, but I changed my shower head to this unit sold at CW and it was probally the best money ever spend. Would not go without this unit now. Uses little water and produces large pressure.
