I screwed up and dropped the power cord to the living room TV down the holein the cabinet.

This is a 40AD floor plan where the TV is mounted in the cabinet behind the passenger seat.

Can anyone give me a suggestion as how I can retrieve it? I should say the shelf above the cable hole in the cabinet is mounted firmly in place, and the gap between the hole and the shelf above it is only about 6", so no way to see dow the hole.

Help!!

Paul

Have you got a stiff wire like ground wire make a hook on end of it and go fishing you may get lucky and catch a wire end.

If you have a light on the right side of the cabinet, you can remove the wood where the light is attached to and reach the cord. There should be four screws in the molding and the whole fixture will come out. We have a 2004 Vectra also.

Yes, I do have a sconce-type light over the credenza. Thanks for your tip. I'll try it and let you know.
