Vista and trailer brake controller

Wondering if any Vista owners have installed a trailer brake controller? And if so, where did you mount it?

Have a P3 controller and the only good place I found puts it right over the parking brake release. Seems a little too heavy for velcro to hold it.

I have a Curt Tri Flex and was able to mount on the angled panel under the steering wheel and stay within the angle parameters for the controller. Has been two seasons and works fine

Thanks jaz, I'll take a look at that. Are you able to reach it to adjust while driving?

Yes I can. There is some ability to move it toward one side or the other to make it easier to reach and see the controller display

Finally got the right combination of time and warmer weather today and took the opportunity to get this installed.

I mounted it under the steering wheel just to the right a bit, in front of the brake pedal.
Mounted and re-mounted again, actually. What looks straight when you're upside down and wedged between the doghouse and the driver seat can be not at all straight when sitting in the driver seat.

I wasn't sure about mounting it on the plastic with the little zip screws supplied, but it seems pretty solid.

Congratulations. Mine has the mount that the controller goes into-so a two piece mount and I don't recall but I may have added some washers to the mount. I am unable to look at right now but if it feels solid when you use adjustment controls you should be good. Mine is still solid after 4 years of Arizona roads.
