I noticed a bubble like rust is forming towards the front of the door and just above where the side panel sits in the bottom groove. Has anyone else had that situation? I'm just wondering if there is going to be a problem with water in the bottom of the door.

It wont get any smaller.

We had a spot on our drivers door that grew to a half dollar size rust/bubble. Just below the window, towards the outer edge. We had a local body shop take care if it and a few other rusty spots (like the wings on either side of the steps).

Resonable price & the paint match was perfect (Quality Body Shop, Akron OH).
- sorry no pics.
