We have friends who are having some serious work done at Forest City. We are meeting them there and look forward to the factory tour as this is our first time to Forest City. We are very lucky/fortunate that everything works and is properly maintained on our coach. However I hate to miss an opportunity for first class service on our 4-yr old, 25K mile coach. Do you have any suggestions for work that I have forgotten? Enjoy saving money but don't want to miss an opportunity. Thanks.

FlyFish, You certainly are in the best place at the right time BUT like they say, if it ain't broke ....

Once you get your rig inside, I believe they do a quick scan on the roof seals. This would be the place to get your roof resealed if nothing else.

Are you there for the rally? If so you need to look up Blue Ox booth and sign up for the $25 service. They will completely take apart your towbar, clean it and lubricate it, then replace all the washers and anything at all that needs to be replaced. I know I"ve said this before on this forum, but I can't tell you enough how much this service means to me. Service tech charge around $100/hour and for $25 you get one on one service plus if you're available when they arrive, you can have any question answered. I typically have it indicated on my service form that I want to be notified when they arrive, or I give them specific times that I know I will be by the rv and have them come then. They are always great guys who do a great job!

I second that! They know where check the roof, how to check it properly, and how to fix it, if necessary. I was in Forest City in June and the tech told me that this is critical on fiberglass roofs. The sealant should be checked twice a year, especially in hot climates. We plan on swing by Forest City once a year for this, even if for no other reason.
By the way, we were very happy with the care and professionalism that they showed us. (one of the reasons Winnebago is still in business)

FlyFish,

See my reply to "Full side slide reliable" They also did a roof and both side wall check and caulked the whole top of the roof and a couple of spots on the outside sidewalls for $90.
