In my Moho when I turn the key on all those lights light up and all go out except 2/3 one being the Wait to Start Light. When it goes out and I start the engine , but then it comes back on and stays on a few then goes out till the next time.
Anyone experience the same thing? Is it normal and what should it do? Any consequences? Merry Christmas

I've experienced this too. My dealer told me that this light is caused by some sort of warming device at the fuel intake. He told me to turn it on several times before starting the engine to make sure this warmup takes place. I notice that when I use the block heater, even in very cold weather, that I don't get the message.

There is a preheat device in the intake of your engine. It is thermostically controlled. If you turn the key on and the engine is cold, the light will come on at the same time as the preheat does. Once things are warmed up a bit, the thermostat turns the heater and the light off. Now you can start your engine. Sometimes, once the engine fires, the light (and heater) will come back on for a few seconds if it's really cold out. That's because the fresh intake air is pretty cold and turns the thermostat back on for a few seconds. At 10 below zero I've seen engine preheaters go on and off like that for a couple of minutes. It's normal in cold weather. Once you get some heat into the intake manifold it'll stop.

Thanks Mark glad to know all is normal. A special wish for a Happy Holiday Season to you and your family
What you say makes perfect sense. The cold air makes the light come back on even tho it warmed things up enough the first time to start the engine.

inchman,
cruzer was right on the ball with that description. Now get that coach fired up and get out of there for a while, you need a break. Oh, make sure you have insulated socks on and a nice pair of wooley house slippers. These darn Winnebago products have mighty cold firewalls and you'll need to keep you feet warm. You heard the old saying, " cold feet, cold heart". Well we certainly wouldn't want you to be known as a "cold hearted fellow", would we!
