I noticed on the last trip that the tank indicators in the outside compartment and the inside control panel read "empty" for the grey and black tanks even though I knew they where half full. The LP and fresh water indicator worked fine.

Any suggestions what to check as to why the waste tanks are not "reading" properly?

thanks for any input.

If you are sure you have half tanks, I would look for some loose or broken wires, not knowing where the tanks and sensors are on a 36RD I can't tell you where to look.

The sensors should be external stuck with double sided sticky tape to the outside of the tanks.
