I just called Discount Filter Store and asked if the Omnipure E5520 Replacement Filter Cartridge would fit in place of the Everpure ADC and was told NO. For what it's worth...

Well, I just got two E5520s from Discount Filter Store and they seem to fit fine in my Everpure QL-3 head. I didn't run any water through it since the coach is winterized, but it fit and locked into the head without problems.

We use and have for years 2 filters 1=the whole house water filter (this was standard on our present coach) and then the ADC or at present the 3M filter.
The 3M filter seems to last longer but it is more expensive.
We full time and I find we have to change them about every 3 months

My current ADC filter says it fits QL-2 & QL-3 heads. I'm not sure which one I have, wonder what the difference is between the two if the same filter fits both heads?
Chris- Did you have a choice when you ordered your Omnipure filters between the 5520 and the 5320?

The QL-3 has the shutoff valve, the QL-2 doesn't. The same filters should fit in both.
As previously mentioned by DAN L, these are 1 micron filters while the ADC is 1/2 micron. The only difference between these filters is the service life and physical length. From the Omnipure E-filter spec page (sorry if the table is a bit squished): Block GAC 1 Micron
- Taste, odor & chlorine reduction
- Cyst reduction
- Class 1 filtration media
- Maximum one-year service life
Two and one halt inch diameter filter bodies.
MODEL NUMBER BODY SIZE SERVICE LIFE
E5320 2.5" x 6" 1500 GALLONS
E5420 2.5" x 8" 2000 GALLONS
E5520 2.5" x 10" 2500 GALLONS
E5620 2.5" x 12" 3000 GALLONS
E5720 2.5" x 14" 3500 GALLONS
