Hi everyone..I have a 2009 Tour WD and experience water leaking in and running out from under refer and soaking carpet leading in to bedroom. This happens only after rain and does not seem to be associated with refer. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Ranger Rick

While you have your awning out you may not have a problem but if its stormy and windy awning is in and if your furnace is under your fridge along the top of your furnace someone may never had run a sealant bead across the top of your furnace wall cut out.
Water will run across top of furnace on to vinyl tile floor into bedroom or bath on to rugs..

Rick, don't know if this will be helpful, but you haven't rec'd many posts, so I'll give you my little experiences. I had water filling up the 12v light fixture inside the compartment under my fridge. I didn't notice anything until it overflowed and wet the interior carpet. Culprit was a drain line from a hole in the bottom of the refer cabinet. There's a metal pan with a 'sunken" drain hole and a 1/2 inch hose that runs down from under the hole. The drain hole got clogged with fir needles, and each time I washed the rig (or during mighty Oregon storms), I was spraying water through the ventilation door and then it flowed into the cabinet below the fridge. You might look for a clogged drain.

Another time, I had water leaking from the bottom doors of the fridge onto the floor. This was because my evaporation pan was so full that it was overflowing, with water settling under the bottom crisper and then slowly flooding my kitchen floor. I still have to watch it, Oregon rain provides a lot of humidity, and every once in a while I'll sponge some water out. No biggie

Yours is probably different, but you might check for overflows, at least it would be an easy fix.

The drain line mentioned could be a possibility, but that would require rain to get into the refer access area ...not likely every time it rains but only with directional or wind blown reai on that side. I would think the possibility of a leak in the refer roof vent would be much higher ...assuming the refer is not in a slide-out.

Probably right AFChap, just thought I'd toss in my small experiences and hoping RR would find an easy fix.... There's nothing quite like a water leak to stir an RVer's emotions
