We have a 1995 Winnabago Brave. We went camping this weekend for the 1st time no elec, no hook ups and our water pump just stopped working. We checked the 15 amp fuse,it looked OK. Our water pump is located under the bed. What else should we be checking to see what could be wrong?

Does the pump indicator light on the range hood come on? If so then I would verify that you have voltage at the pump itself and if so consider replacing the pump. I have a 95 Vectra and don't know if I would bother to repair the 11 year old pump if it failed unless it was something simple like replacing motor brushes or cleaning a pressure switch.

Regards,

Neil

Are we able to assume that you have water in the tank when this happened? You did not specify if the pump was pumping and no water.

If that is true, check to see if the line to the pump is clear of blockage. I have found that some plastic from the tank instalation was found in the line.

Don't know if you have an auxilary battery switch or not that would shut off the juice to the pump? Maybe low battery power, or the suggestion of small bits of plastic blocking one of the lines is also a strong possibility, I've had that happen to us.

If you have a volt meter or 12 volt trouble light turn the pump switch on and check to see if there is 12 volts going to it.
