Water pump replacement

I want to make a portable 12 volt water transfer pump so i can put water in my onboard storage tank.My current pump should be able to do the job ,if i remove it to do this i would like to upgrade its replacement. What would be a good repalcement for my situation.I was told there is other ways to put water in my tank but to me this would be simple and straight forward, dather than trying to route a hose into the pump compartment. My current pump is not that noisy and performs well but am wondering if thère is one that is better.I wish i knew what pump i have at this time but i dont.Nothing against Winnibago but im sure it isnt a premium pump. The choices are all over the place so any recommendations would be appreciated. Dave

I use a $10 cordless drill powered pump to transfer water.
