Water Pump Runs but no H2O Flow

First, on city water all is fine and the water fill switch is in the correct position. It was also replace less than a year ago. Water pump runs but no water or a very slight flow; the filter is not clogged.
Not sure where to go with this next other than replacing the pump. Are there check valves on the downstream site of the pump? I see two gray couplers in line before it enters the system; could these fail?

When this happened to me I found the winterization bypass valve was nearly completely closed. I opened the valve and water flow returned to normal

Safe travels. JD

Bypass valves in the wrong position or you have left the city water fill valve in the Fill position. If all the valves are in the proper position, you might have a defective check valve on the fresh water inlet (where you attach your hose for city water).

Sounds like you may have air getting into the pump. Check your connections. It doesn't take much to lose prime.

As others have said check the city water fill switch, on ours the label is counterintuitive. I had to put some idiot proof labels on ours.

Then this spring I would have bet cold hard cash I had the winterize switch in the correct position. I even thought I double checked. I must have been trippin’ hard because a few weeks later I decided to tackle the issue head on and found that it was still in winterize position.

OP......
Turn water pump ON
Open nearest faucet coldside and leave open....allowing pump to expel any air while it primes.

In case others have similar problem:
The pump continuously runs; clear elbow inlet side no flow and strainer is not full of water. One thing of note: drain valve failed at some point driving down the road and completely emptied a full tank. It worked fine after the valve repair but I think the impeller failed finally; pump was probably original since 2006.

***Update***. Replaced water pump and all is well!

On our coach with the valve at the hose connection set to tank fill that will happen. The pump will run sucking water from the tank then push it right back into the tank. Try switching the valve at the hose connection.
