What does this switch do??

Hey all,
We just bought a 2001 Sunflyer 36W by Itasca and it is more than I ever thought I would have. I for the most part have figured out things, with one exception. There is a panel of 2 switches on the lower kitchen cabinet to the left of the rear passenger seat (These are not the switches for the steps, outside lights or interior lights). One of these two switches is for the light over the seat and the unknown switch is a three way rocker. I know this is long winded and I apologize, thanks for your help.

Not sure about your layout, but could this switch control the night time lighting (usually two) for the floor? Normally one located by the steps and one in the bath area, other switch is in bath or bedroom area. (three ways)

Is it a spring loaded switch that returns to the center (off) position when you let go of it? If so, it could be your house battery disconnect switch. Pushing it up would engage the solenoid to turn on the house batteries and pushing it down opens the solenoid to disconnect the house batteries.

Select your model and you should be able to figure out the function of the switch.

We have an '05 Meridian so ours may be very different, but we have two switches in the place you describe. One is marked "Reading", and is for the reading light, the other is marked "Aisle", and is one of the two switches that turn on/off the small aisle lights that are under the cabinet toe spaces in the kitchen and bathroom.

Thanks for the input... Definitely not the battery disconnect switch as that is clearly labelled and located nearer the stairs where the batteries are located. The switch is not spring loaded, however, I am inclined to think that it is for the aisle lights. I'll check it out and let you know.

Sounds like a Hi-Off-Lo fan swx.

From this diagram Body, 12 Volt Wiring Installation it looks like it's a three-way switch for the 'courtesy' lights (footlights to provide some illumination at night). There should be another three-way switch for the same lights in the bedroom.

Thanks for the info on the switch. That is exactly what it does. I flipped it on and was unable to see the light on floor due to the daylight, however I tried it last night and it showed up nicely. One more mystery solved, now on to the next...
