What kind of remedies for lost Key fobs?

Gents,
A buddy of mine who recently purchased an '06 Itasca Meridian 36G is looking for a way to purchase, replace, build, get, the "remote" key fobs for the two locking systems on his coach. His is like ours in the fact that you can electrically lock all the compartment doors and, the main door to the coach. But, in his recent purchase, he was not given the remotes for that system.

He spent several hours on the phone to multiple places trying to get info on obtaining some. And yes, he called Winnebago too. So far, he's had no luck. Does anyone know of some secret place to obtain these remotes? Or, is there some place that can "build" a set from any sort of numbers off the receiver?

Sooner or later I'll get him to join this forum so he can ask his own questions. Until then, I don't mind. Thanks for any info you can send my/his way.
Scott

The only ones I am aware of are made by
Products / Electrical/Electronic | TriMark Corporation and Keyless.com - Official Site of Keyless Entry® Keypad Access Control Systems designed for Security Professionals.

We have the ones made by Keyless on our Beaver.

Scott, Tell your buddy that I have at least one but probably two key fobs that came with my coach that I have never used. He can have them if he wants them. I'm not sure if they will need to be reprogramed for his coach or not. PM me if your interested.

Sammie

Hi

How about going the remote starter route? My starter locks/unlocks 1 door or all of them and with extra relays can open up windows or open/close the sunroof. Anything that is power can be controlled with the remote starter remote.
Just a thought.

To all who've responded,
I, and my friend are sincerely appreciative of your assistance, experience, help and links to aid in this situation. It never ceases to amaze me the wealth of knowledge and help one can generate here. I'm going to take Sammies offer of the two and will get them to my buddy and see if we can make them work. But, I'm going to also keep the links you've posted as not only a back up this plan but, also as a connection to issues that I may have in the future too. This is great. Thanks again.
Scott

P.S. Dale M,
That's not a bad idea there bud. I'm going to have to take that into consideration for myself. I'm always up for something new and different. Thanks again.
Scott
