Recently purchased a 2008 Sightseer. While putting stuff away, I found a white metal rod with capped ends about 3 feet long. Rod is about 3/4 inch in diameter. Can't figure out what it's for. Does any one know??

Just a hunch. Might it be a rod for hanging things in the shower?

Thanks to all who replied. I tried it and it does not quite fit so I have to cut 1/4 inch off.

It is suppose to be a real tight fit. Double check before you cut it.
If it drops out when loaded. It could damage the shower.

I had to trim mine about 1/8 inch. It fits tightly now. It would not go in the slots before.

Its very tight, but if you put one end in and pull down while spreading the shower a bit it should fit. If you need to cut any off start small. But first pound the caps firmly to make sure they are fully seated.

When we bought our used 35J, the shower bar was visible in a photo of the closet. When we went to pick up, the bar was missing. When I asked, "Oh we didn't know what it was so we threw it away" UGH!! Would've been nice if they had done the same with the trash. Oh well, bought an adjustable shower curtain rod that allows us to tighten as necessary. Probably better. But what dealers do is amazing.

The shower rod is (two peaces) is screwed together to make it shorter and unscrewed to make it longer.

Had 2 Winnys. neither had an ajustable hanger rod for the shower. But what I have found is they are a very tight fit. Will not pop out going down the road if used that way.

Mine is defiantly a one piece shower rod, fits tight but never popped out on us.
