I spent $1100 last year with techs at Allison and Freightliner trying to find out why no chassis power to transmission and engine and watching the clock tick as they tried to trace wires all covered with the same black plastic looms
Wouldn't it be a wonderful RV world if each of the major chassis component manufacturers or factory assemblers used a different color wire loom. Yellow for Cat or Cummins, Red for Allison, Green for Freightliner and Blue for the Coach manufacturer....
just daydreaming.....RKL

On my Adventuer all wiring is Yellow or White under dash.
But each wire also has a number stamped on it to ID it.
I bought a WInnebago wireing diagram book. Good thing. Has helped me a lot in tracing wires.
Yellow +
White -

I have the same colors and wiring book but once these enclose the colored wires in a black plastic harness, all you see are many black harnesses going in all directions.......RKL
