Window Channel Runs

Hello, I have a 2009 Journey and need to replace the channel runs in my three horizontal sliding side windows. I purchased the "replacement runs" from Winnebago parts although they advised they no longer make the original style (all rubber) stating the new ones have a felt side and would be a tighter fit, as well as being expensive (61 cents/inch). They were not kidding bout the fit. Myself and three friends struggled to get the channel run in on one window and although we did it, there is no way this window will ever open again until I take these channel runs back out. Due to the addition of the felt, they fit too tight and will not work out. I will try for a refund, but thats another story. Any suggestions about this nightmare of a job would be appreciated.

thanks, Tom

Have you gone to any local window/glass shops? They will have an assortment of window channel to choose from.
Happy Glamping.
