We had a very annoying and loud windshield whistle in the driver's area of our new 2010 Winnebago 42AD. I called the Winnebago Tech folks and he suggested that I check to see if the weep hole covers on the bottom of the driver's side window were in place -- they were not! Anyway, I got some covers from the dealer, quickly snapped them in place (open end to the rear) and bingo -- no more whistle. Amazing what a few small pieces of plastic will do for a quiet ride.

I appreciate the help from the Winnie Tech Support folks -- if you have a whistle in this area, check to see if the covers are in place.

So what about the weeping. The holes are there for a reason I would think.

The covers do not seal the weep holes, but rather direct any rain out and to the rear. The covers do a great job in giving a quiet ride!

A small dab of clear silicone on each cover will keep it in place. If you find yours missing remember they are side specific when you order.
