Has anyone had problems with their windshield wipers arms swinging way too long. On my 05 Journey the passenger side wiper arm goes way pass where it should stop. I have looked at the outside nut and that assembly is fine and I can't see anything wrong with the linkage inside. Is there some type of stop on the mechanical arms? It is really weird as the driver's side works fine. Any ideas? Where would be a good place to have them repaired? Freightliner? Camping World? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 08 had a similar problem, turned out to be a small sub assembly part that my dealer got from Winnebago.

Also had an issue with mine. They would smack the bottom of the windshied - top of cowl. Not a tap, but a hard smack.

I took off the wiper arms and moved them over 1 click, but then they would go wide, as yours are doing. If you do try this, you'll need a puller to get them off.

Long story short, somebody installed the idler arm backwards. Popped it off, flipped it around, and now they dont hit.
- Actually the stock 24" blades still kiss the cowl on high, so I have been using 23" and all is well.
