Windshield Wiper Controller, Where Is It??

I am helping a friend with his 2000 Winnebago Chieftain 36L and we have been trying to find the wiper controller. He has replaced the wiper motor 4 times in 5 years so we suspect that the controller is the problem (even ran a separate ground to the motor). We just can't find it! Currently the motor will run for about 30 min and then just shut off. Leave it off for a while and it will run again for a while then shut off. Not a good situation if it is raining out.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
