Wink Windshield wipers for 2018 Vista

Wow our rig was only your old, the windshield wiper blades were in need of being replaced. I did not realize that this ordinary task would have become so difficult. The blades are 32 inches long and or made by Amco. I initially replaced them with a set of Trico blades obtained it all the local camping world outlets. This turned out to be a huge mistake as after several hours in operation one blade on the driver side scratch my windshield. I went to one of the larger Super parts stores in Houston Texas and secured a pair of blades that were thought to fit although they didn’t. After consulting the Amco website and utilizing their parts finder to I was able to determine that the correct replacement blade had the part number 22-32. However after contacting for outlets in the Houston Texas area no one carried this brand of blade. Long story short I contacted the Amco manufacturer and learned that NAPA had similar design wiper blades with the part number 6-3246. I will attempt to install them tomorrow. Just thought that I would share this information with fellow vista owners since it was such a large ordeal then could stand some simplification if you know what I mean. Happy travels

Many people, like me, have just moved to the 28 inch wipers. They are much cheaper, available at any auto parts store, easy to carry spares, and you lose very little or no visibility with the shorter blade.

If your J-hook is a little wider than standard car width, then you can file it down a little. But on the Vista, that only applies to pre-2015 rigs. After that year, the J-hooks were standard width.

I will never go back, because I like to change blades out annually along with the cars...

This year I changed to silicone wipers, rather than rubber, which I found on Amazon. So far so good, and I think they will last a lot longer in the sun.

Cheers!

I bought these on Amazon and they have held up well going on 1 year.

Living here in Fl, the sun really beats up the blades. Especially when you have a reflective sun screen in the windshield. As a result you will see many folks cutting a length of pool noodle, putting a slit in in and putting it over the wiper blade while parked.

Same issue with our 2018 Vista. Like above , walmart had the 28" blades of the same construction style as the OEM blades. The loss of the width/ wiped area is unnoticeable IMO.

I’m inclined to agree. I’ll consider that when I purchase some spares to bring along with me. Safe travels. Rufus

I used these too, they are exact replacements and work well. I put some sliced pool tubes over the wipers when parked, it seems to help them last longer. 2 years and still going strong on my RV.
