Winnebago 25 RKS

Hello,

This is my first post, and I am considering a Winnebago 25 rks fifth wheel.
I am wondering if anyone has one that can tell me what impressions good or bad that they might have. Any problems that Winnebago has with their RV's in general that I should know about.
I have seen the reviews online with the PissedAT(name your RV company) as they just about include every RV manufacturer out there.

So, I am just looking for some owners that have some helpful input as to what they like or dislike about this fifth wheel.

We like the size and are downsizing from a Cedar Creek 37ft long to one that's only 28ft. That's a nice thing for us, but it might not be for everyone.

I am wondering about the slide out mechanism, as I have heard about the Schwintec? type, but don't know what moves this 25rks. It has gears on the bottom but I don't see a motor and I know it has to have one. Where is it?

Thanks for any and all replies, I need to make a decision soon whether I am going to purchase or not.

We have a 2014 26FWRKS. Dozens of trips over the past 3 years and love it. Very few problems. On ours only the bedroom closet slide is schwintek. Main living room slide is conventional gear/rail setup. The closet is short and small and am told the schwintek problems were almost always with heavy long slides.

We felt for the money the Winnebago was better quality construction inside and out than other brands in the same price range we looked at. I hope thats continued with the newer models.
