Hi;
We are considering the purchase of a used 2005 Aspect 26 A. Unit has only 17,500 miles on clock and is being traded at a dealer for a 2011 5er.
It is said to have; dinette not sofa, sat. t.v., 2 60W. solar panels, rear air bags (not sure of on board comp.), back up camera, and the usual standard "stuff". Has anyone had Good or Bad luck with this unit?? Have read on some blogs that people love them--occasionally a bad experience.
We would appreciate any comments and help before purchase in early March.

I have the twin to the Aspect 26A. I have a 2006 Cambria 26-A and am very happy with it after having driven 7 big class A's. There are a number of interior mods that I performed myself to make it a bit more civil. I still intend to take the dinnette, which is horse shoe shaped, out all together and put in two recliners in its place. I do not have the overhead bunk, instead I have the entertainment center, which I definetly like. The air bags are a real plus on this rig, I found 55 lbs to be my best inflation level. The rig handles very well, has plenty of highway moxy, the brakes are very good.

I forgot to mention I do not have an onboard compresser. I really don't think it would be necessary, extra weight, and it takes so little to pump them up. Mine stay on pressure indefinetly.

We have a 2005 Aspect 26A, we bought it used last October. It has 50,000 miles on the clock and was very well maintained.
In December we did a 3000 mile trip to Florida and back with no problems. It is a very comfortable coach.
One improvement I plan on doing is the addition of a Safe T Steer or similar device, and will probably install airbags. We did notice a fair amount of sway and some problems in tracking at 65 mph, especially with a side wind.
Also bought a complete set of tires, BFG Commercial T/As before the trip. Very happy with the tires.
We're looking forward to traveling 4-5 months of the year in this coach when we retire. We bought it because the plan is to hit the State and National Parks we never got to see and this is small enough to get into the smaller campsites, yet comfortable. Sure beats the travel trailer we used to have for winter travel!

Baraff;
Thanks for the post. Sounds like you are a "happy camper". We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the trade in at the dealer so we can take a good look at it.
John
