Winnebago Fiberglass

On a 2002 Winnebago Adventurer V32 has anybody experienced problems with the fiberglass sides? By problems I am referring to dime-sized outer layers of the gelcoat peeling off.

KenGe, welcome to the forum. I think I had heard of some problems in the past. Contact Winnebago customer relations and discuss it with them. They may be able to offer some assistance. You might also try posting this down in the Winnebago section of this forum further down the main page.

Hi KenGe
We have a 2002 Winn' Advent' 35U. We bought it in spring of 2006. It had only 8,230 miles and no blisters. Durring the following 3 yrs it developed barely perceivable blisters of which some grew into approx 1/4" chips out of the thin fiberglass surface. It looks like H____.

I am anxious to hear how you made out. Help

We also have a 2002 32V Adventurer and the right side has round flakes starting to pop off. They are under and above the passenger side front window. At first I thought it was a rock chip, but now they are multiplying like rabbits! Very disappointing to say the least as we love everything about our Adventurer.

We have a 01 Suncruiser and have the same problem. We had ours repaired two summers ago at a local body shop but the blisters are coming back. Good luck with Winnebago.

My 1994 Kwikee electric step on Winnabago fails to extends, just clicks when door is opened, sometimes intermittent, than quits working again. Must be a common problem
