Excellent add-on. We had our coach in for repair at the Junction City facility and got them to give us one of these devices, and install it. FOR FREE. The discussion was that the screw-in device was more of a factory-to-dealer-shipping-only issue and not for regular travel use by the consumer. We also suggest that this (new) device be STANDARD EQUIPMENT on the refer...not an add-on. They agreed and were very nice about it. BTW, when we had this discussion, the plant manager and the West Coast Sales Manager were standing there.

Yes. I'm shocked that I had to go buy a proper fridge latch from Thor as the Winnie supplied screw was just awful. I agree, the screw should have only been a shipping latch, and not a consumer latch.

These Forza's and Solei's have an awful flimsy bed platform (hollow core) and we found ourselves rolling toward the middle. After some investigation, we found our bed platform was falling apart so I used some angle iron to strengthen this bed frame.

I couldn't believe that the Forzas also don't come with mudflaps so I installed my own. Front and Rear.

The Water Heater switch and the Engine Heater switches are prone to failure on all the Forza and Solei models, so I changed them out to a heavy duty 120 volt light switch.

The two Fantastic Vents that were installed in my 2015 Forza 24T came with terrible single pane thin plastic lids. I installed the double pane Smoke colored insulated lids.

The Forza 34T models all come with wheel covers instead of the Alcoa wheels that the 36 and 38 models come with. I was concerned that the stem extensions were not able to hold air, and I was right as these were wearing against the stainless wheel covers. I just removed all the plastic stem extensions and threw them in the trash.

Call Total Value RV, Elkhart IN and tell them you want the "Thor fridge latch" (Thor part number 0315579) and they will know what you are talking about. I don't have the phone number for their parts desk. They have sold a bunch of these things.

I will add that this latch only works on the Whirlpool fridge/freezers that DONT have handles. I believe the 2014 38R has handles so this won't work. The 34T and the 36 have the Whirlpool without handles, and this latch is made for them.
