Run the house LP furnace while driving. Many do that.
Or run the generator and a couple 120V space heaters.
The heater hoses have a long way to travel from the engine to the front heater core.
Myself. I never travel my ISB in any outside temps lower then 40º.
You may want to change the thermostat with another OEM one.
Just in case yours is stuck open all the time.
But if your dash gauge starts out at 0 and then slowly goes to the R or M area. Probably not stuck.
