Discovered something new today about the water system
You all know how when with no city water connected, water pump is on, and you turn the water bay control know to "fill" the water pump runs?
It is drawing from the water tank and pumping water back into the water tank via the line from the fill valve to the top of the tank.
I found I could set the water pump on, turn the knob to "fill", and then put the winterizing line into a 5 gallon jug of water and it was drawn in and delivered to the fresh tank. Was pretty fast, too drew in 5 gallons in less than 5 minutes.
The higher you can set the jug the faster it will draw in and fill.

Wow, no I didn't know that. Now I'm thinking that may be a great way to suck up a chlorine-water mix to disinfect the system. Presently I have to perform the "pour some bleach into the fresh water fill hose" to get it into the system.
I had a latch break and had a very hard time getting it open cause the plastic broken latch was stuck and wouldn't move,so I replaced ALL my door latches with new metal ones sold buy RB machining/RV DIV phone #6612741966 email www.motorhomelatches.com here is what you see when you opn panel and drill out rivet and add the new steel and rivet it in. also when you order tell them how many you need and get a discount for all doors
Powercat ras did you connect into an existing satellite radio antenna for your portable connection or use the antenna that probably came in the kit?
Yes I used the existing OEM cable from the Ext. Sat Connector in the basement and attached it to one side of an A-B switch, the other side has the cable to the roof dish. It's not right on the back of the receiver it goes to a little box called a Hybrid Duo Node that allows for a future 2nd viewing location using a Joey.

I had a residential Fridge put in my 06 Tour today. I had it done at RV Services in Ashland, VA. They did a great job. They were able to take the old one out and move the new one in though the passenger side window over the couch. They had to trim the fridge space opening frame just a small bit. They widened the front frame by about an inch and the height by about 3 - 4 inches. I will add a piece of quarter round trip on the right side but overall it's a done deal. Wife loves it. Definitely won't have any problem keeping the beer and soda cold. http://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/dance.gif

Looks great! Do you have a way to secure the doors figured out yet?
We are using a luggage strap wrapped around the handles. I'm still looking for a better solution. I have seen a locking device that THOR uses on their new RVs. Have not seen it online any where yet.
