Winnebago Navion V check valve

The city water check valve has failed on our 2016 navion. How does one remove the old one to replace it with new one. Have undone the screws on the outside of valve. No dice. Took out all the screws on the panel as well as knobs. Won't come off. The check valve is connected to threaded fitting to water line on other side of panel. What is the next step?

Ours had a slow small leak so we just added a 45 degree secondary hose bib shut off valve. Pretty much got to the same point as you but still had no idea how to remove the original for replacement.
