Winnebago quality

I've been looking at the Winnebago coaches because I really like the plans and I like the flexibility that they build into the motorhomes. I went to see one that was a 37f floor plan and I was a little disappointed in a few things. The alignment of the cabinet doors was off and the outside basement doors were very light and even though they had slam locks mounted they did not lock when I dropped them down to close. I'm wondering if I made a mistake in choosing Winnebago to go after rather than Tiffin or some other comprable motorhome manufacturer?

We bought Winnebago because of the floor plan that we really liked. I think our interior cabinet work is quite well done, and in general, the coach is fairly well built. Having said that however, it sounds like quality control is somewhat shaky right across the industry, almost every new coach seems to have issues that need correcting, including ours.
