I just got a safety recall from Winne today...second notice...related to weak welds on mounting brackets holding the tank. I was made aware of this recall by folks on this message board before I bought the coach in February. Dealer and prior owner said recall was done. Perhaps, dealer did not submit paperwork or Winne lost it.

However, I want to be sure it was done. My tank has two gray straps which look like they were added. Is this what was involved in the recall?

smlranger,
Yes, and they should wrap all around the tank.
Good luck,
Tagalong

Craig, tagalong is right. If you have two straps completely around the tank then your recall work has been done. If not, its a simple matter to have it done. Jim
