Hi

I have a 1999 winnebago journey which has a non operational Speedometer.

My "take" on it is that it is a Wired system ( no "old fashioned" physical Cable) therefore the problem is 3 fold 1) the Instrument has a malfunction, 2)the wiring and or connections are disconected or loose, OR 3)the Sender/sensor on the engine is not outputing.

It is on the FORD chassis with the V10 (triton?) engine. I do not have a Wiring diagram, So can anyone help? It would be of assistance to know where the Output "feed" is taken from, and (if possible) the wiring colour/Code, to help trace the Feed.

I have been quoted in excess of $700-00 for a replacement Instument "cluster". but would prefer to know first IF it is actually at fault.

I was pointed at this forum, as a "fine source of knowledge", so can anyone help?

Pete
