Winnebago Tour Model 40 KD - Duct Problems

Rear Vertical A/C duct separation behind rear cap. Been having A/C Problems on our 2009 Winnebago Tour since we received it.
Finally made a trip to RV Product's factory in Wichita, KS. Factory found A/C to be operating within spec's. Factory Tech did note that in past they have found that the riser a/c ducts located behind the rear cap separated. In conversions with the Dealer, he noted that they have had to remove several rear caps to repair the separated duct system.
Seems that has been an ongoing problem of which was never caught during warranty issues on my unit.

Anybody out there experiencing this problem.

I'd like to welcome you both to the forum!

Yep, this is an old problem. Check out the threads provided. There's a lot of good ideas and experience there.

Best of luck

I had it repaired under warranty but the problem is back again. I was under the impression that it had been resolved in 2007 models when they went to metal ducts instead of the taped fiberglass ducts.

It was my intention to replace my fiberglass duct with a metal duct. Does the problem on your coach involve the metal duct?
