New question. Right now with this weather i am unable to get near the RV at the storage garage, but trying to prepare for our FT adventure. I know the TVs that is in the coach is not the Smart models, so they have no way to pick up a WIFI signal at all. I cannot recall seeing if there is any HDMI/USB ports that are easy to get to on the the TVs either. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get a WIFI signal to the TV. And not in my budget to replace the TVs at this time....I wish.
Thanks in advance
Bob

First picture, Black and white at the lower right. black is 12v positive only with key on. White is full time negative.
I spliced into the yellow wires
At the other side of the 15 pin connection.
I used the red and black wire in the new harness. Red to black/yellow and black to white/yellow.
This is the ignition only positive for other accessories.

Thanks, I thought that was your splice with the splice cap by the seat belt. But I could not find where it was from. My harness should be here Monday and your info saved me a ton of work. Thanks again.

Hi Bob
I believe your Sony Blu-ray DiscTM/ DVD Home Theatre System in many ways makes your tv a smart tv. You can connect to the Internet by playing your tv through the Sony. And connect to Netflix.
My tv did have the ports you are speaking of. I did have to remove the tv from the wall and plug in extension then reinstall.

Thanks Jesse. AFter your message last night I looked at my parts list and it showed Sony model 390 and I looked at the manua online. First I ever knew this was there. I still would rather replace it with a larger Smart TV......
I will go over there this weekend and see it work.

Your remote has a red Netflix button. If your screen goes blank:
NOTE: For watching Internet video content, they recommend using a connection speed of at least:
2.5 Mbps for standard definition (SD) content
10 Mbps for high definition (HD) content.
Sony Suport
1 (239) 245-6368
Have your model number handy

My sliding bedroom door from time to time while traveling would slam open or shut due to not completely locking. The metal rod that slides into the locking position at the top track was out of adjustment. The rod can be easily extended to the desired hight by rotating it with a small open end wrench. This corrected my problem.

My Sony home theater wasn't working correctly and it turns out that I had a bad HDMI cable from the tv. After replacing all is well.
I found a very good link that explains the system well.

i did go out there this weekend, and of course no batteries in the remotes for the winter. but the two buttons you mention are on the remote. it is model BDV-E385, it must be the lower end unit to the E390 which is listed on the inventory parts list. Thanks for the video link.

Larry - By now you've probably corrected the problem, but wanted to let you know I had a similar issue - talked with Tony F. at Lang Mekra technical support and we were able to confirm it was the camera that failed versus a wiring issue. You can get the Lang Mekra manual - http://www.lang-mekra.com/pdf/servic...ice_Manual.pdf
It describes how to remove the mirrors to access the camera connection. I swapped the connectors in the dash on the switch controller as you did, then I swapped the right and left camera and as suspected my left camera was bad. I call Tony and with the help of Tracy (sales at Lang Mekra) I was able to purchase a replacement camera since my warranty had expired.
Hope this helps you and maybe others who have had a similar issue.

I used the same brand of fan that Winne uses in the bedroom. Power was obtained from the existing ceiling vent fan location. Does a great job of moving air with or without using AC. Both fans utilize a remote control so that fan speeds and on/off can be controlled remotely. Anyone want details, let me know.

Bob - was interested in more details about the ceiling fan. I've found the fan that is the same as in the bedroom - but I was looking for the remote control part number if you have one. Also, can you advise if you added any bracing for the fan and any other installation lessons learned / recommendations. In advance, thanks for your help - I think the fan will be a great addition... I'm already working on the drawer!

Has anyone looked into installing the second patio awning that I've seen on an Itasca Ellipse? Talked with Winnebago, they said to talk to the dealer, talked with the dealer and was able to get pricing for the materials and a swag at the installation costs. The dealer then asked me to contact Winnebago to see if there were any special mounting instructions/concerns/issues etc... and Winnebago said the dealer should know
As demonstrated by the great ideas and talents on this forum, was hoping someone may be tackling this upgrade.
