Thumbs down Winnebago Voyager cabinet faces: repair replace vinyl veneer

We have a 2005 Winnebago Voyage 33v. The "wood grain" vinyl veneer (seems like contact paper, but I am assured it is vinyl...) on the faces of the cabinetry and trim has "delaminated", in the sense that it has come unstuck from the underlying unfinished wood, causing a large number of very obvious bubbles, as well as long linear cracks, and tears. The cabinet doors are fine. The Winnebago dealer indicates that this is not unusual, and their only solution is to remove the doors, then replace the failed cabinets entirely. This approach is not acceptable to me. Winnebago support line CSR has no information, and transferred me to parts, who indicate that the cabinet finish on our RV is "concert cherry" finish, but that they have no information as to the vendor, description, or part for the actual vinyl veneer.

Thoughts, suggestions, experiences solving this problem. It seems to that I need to find a source to sell me replacement wood grain vinyl that is a "close enough" match to enable replacement where needed...

Best,
John Hughes

That would seem to me the best solution.

We had a 08 and there is no way that it was vinyl

Quote from the 05 brochure

The cabinetry has a catalyzedfinish for a high-end furniture look and feel, and added durability.

Inject Glue?

Have you thought about injecting some glue (sparingly) with a hypodermic needle into the bubbles and pressing them down? Something similar may work on the cracks, etc.

You could try it first in a spot that isn't too noticeable.

Sorry, based on my experience with my motorhome, I have to laugh at that brochure claim of 'added durability'! -RT
